I adored and admired almost all the characters, an obvious indicator of skill on the author’s behalf you know, daa by the end they were rama lame, “pathetic”, simple and dumb. I originally read this as a fan translated pdf, before it was officially released in the U.
I just wish it were shorter. The worst conclusion of a book series that I have encountered till now. The storytelling was sloppy and chaotic, a lot sel things didn’t make any sense, many other things were not tied up and stories from past books were left unfinished. First of all, there is relation between author and a reader. I have loved this series, but like a lot of books, this author will never end the story.
Geralt exists in an ambiguous moral universe, yet manages to maintain his own coherent code of ethics.
It wraps up the deel of Geralt the Witcher and Ciri the child of destiny and it does so with the artful, humorous and intelligence that characterises the rest of the series. I enjoyed all the books in the series so far and I have to say, this one was definitely the worst one.
