Because the problem with horary is, that if you’re not really interested, you’re asking just to test – hence you’re not asking that question, you’re asking ‘Does this guy know what he’s doing?

How did you get interested in astrology? Do you believe that, theoretically at least, astrologically-informed betting could be a viable way of funding the organisation?

John Frawley (astrologer) – Wikipedia

It’s your final wish to the fairies, saying ‘Put it back as was before please, take this sausage off the end of my nose! What about the free will and predestination issue? For instance, just the other day someone asked me if his ex-employee was out to get him. Obviously you don’t judge it just on a glance, you then go and check to make sure. The subjects are as follows: Would you like astrology to be more accepted, to be taught in universities for instance, or do you feel that it’s reached its natural level anyway?

So you would say that getting too caught up in earning money by doing astrology can get in the way of one’s skill? And then the ‘London Tonight’ team just asked about Wimbledon.

Elizabeth’s reign was not a story of uninterrupted success and happiness for queen and country; the astrologer cannot choose a perfect moment, for the perfect moment is not there to be chosen. If we wanted to label one specific cause, we could go maybe for the Reformation, which set Man above God, or possibly the printing press, with its consequent massive levelling down of intellectual standards.

Dee would have seen this as a useful way of curbing Elizabeth’s more unsavoury personal habits; as the court’s resident sage, he probably saw this Venus, apart from its general fortunate significance, as signifying himself and so built his own influence over the new queen into the chart.

In our astrological hierarchy, the lesser is ever contained within the greater; the fate of a man is contained within the fate of his country, and since there is no greater than God, the spheres of the universe are enclosed by His will. He featured in Odds on SportPredictions! The fraqley just shows how little people understand the concept of free will: What does it mean to you, to help a client?

It’s only now, when these people have washed their hands of me and I can do asyrology for fun again that I’m getting predictions right. On my own ground, my record is excellent: Lilly talks about the asyrology thing, regarding one of his judgements which he got wrong.

I’m not very good at doing frawly by halves. What can we learn from that? Could you give some examples of predictions which you have made on these shows? What do you want from that business? This was followed up by Real Astrology Applied. There is a reason why this querent phones the astrologer while working, while that one waits until her lunch-break; why this one boldly picks up the phone and dials, while that one hesitates and puts it off.

Less than I expected. As for spectacular frawleh – like everyone else I thought Princess Diana would get married again and have children.

In the abstract – and I stress ‘in the abstract’ – it’s pretty poor show if an astrological organisation can’t finance itself by investing, whether in William Hill or the stock-market.

Thanks for telling us about the problem. Juggling these various factors to produce the optimum situation is exactly the challenge of electional astrology. One of the nice things about horary is that you can tell if you are getting it right. The Centiloquium is reproduced online at http: So did you get into horary fairly early on?

I’m not doing hour-long consultations. My attitude is very much that you ask at your own risk. Sometimes a judgement can involve a long conversation – up to, say, half an hour. Horary cannot be done at all with modern methods – as those text-books which attempt to demonstrate such a method make perfectly clear. He was talking about Prince Rupert, and he says he got his judgement wrong because he shouldn’t have been looking at the chart for Prince Rupert.

Definitely, my supposedly expert knowledge of football is evidently pretty patchy. Justin rated it really liked it Aug 27, If we look at the keywords that the moderns tend to use in considering the planets – so many of them are vague, more-or-less meaningless tags. Whether the question be on love, career, illness – or predicting the weather for a barbecue, this clear and comprehensive guide by a modern master of horary shows you how to answer it.

Who developed the technique, and where can interested parties read about it? It concentrates the mind! So, inevitably, our judgements are concrete, even if we are working on a psychological level. One of my clients is involved in Pakistani politics. I didn’t see anything there to say there was going to be particular disruption.
