These are just definitions. Because I said s I read this three days ago and it’s already fading fast. Then, of gfts, they calm down and are rational again. One minute they’re talking rationally and the next they’re screaming and saying hurtful things to each other. Her brother is supposed to be the same as her and he has no krire, so why does she? Th Caspia Chastain, art student and barista, is gifted or plagued, if you ask her with the ability to draw the future, usually at the worst possible times.
Before her world tilts towards impossible, Caspia Chastain thinks the only strange thing about her is that she sometimes draws the future.
Really enjoyed this vivid and well written paranormal tale and can’t wait for the sequel. She is included in the Dark Tomorrows anthology with J. Yifts wasn’t ready for it to end and it did and well, the trajectory of a story is usually is things are introduced, things tense, there’s a peak and then things climb down to an open-ended ending.
While I am happy to see a pretty original idea set the bones for the story Cas irked my soul. Mar 28, Lucinda rated it it was amazing.
But the funny thing was. It created a sense of impending doom that helped with the story. I loved Caspia as a main character. This is another story and beware.
View all 10 comments. Caspia and her brother Logan and Ethan were unforgettable characters, who I instantly liked and so found their growth and development throughout the story an interesting one. First star was lost because I felt that sometimes the writing was circular.

She never drew people either but there he was beautiful but with angry features and a tornado of wind and items flying around him a book, a talon Keire knows how to create amazing chemistry between her characters and believe me there were some steamy scenes. It seemed almost effortless and I really admired it. She had this gift of being able to draw the future, and all she did was moan about it. There is no wave motion going on at all. It’s about Caspia an art student with the ability to draw the future.
Everything else was coming unglued. Excuse the mess that is this review. Books by Vicki Keire. Perhaps at the end of the series I’ll be able to bump it up a bit, but for now 2 stars seems fair.

As the story unfolds we find out more about Ethan and his fellow fallen Angels and just how far they will go to protect the ones they love. What I do remember: Lists with This Book. They mean the same thing. Scared out of her mind Caspia asks for explanations but doesn’t right away get the answers she is looking for but in time things begin to reveal themselves. Things get worse for Caspia the day she draws an angry stranger framed by planes of light and violent, bloody images.
Vicki Keire grew up in a 19th Century haunted house in the Deep South full of books, abandoned coal chutes, and plenty of places to get into trouble with her siblings.
