This is the first book I’ve read by Mr. MacArthur for another format. He picked people with absolutely no influence. Backed by Scripture, John MacArthur writes in a way that makes it plain to understand what a real conversion to Christ is all about.
Some reviewers seem to expect too much from men If more so called “Christian Books” were written as well as this one, there would be more people reading Christian literature and therefore more people understanding the costs of coming to Christ in a real and personal way.

The scripture included is sweet to the soul and it’s prominent in this book for sure. A better book for educating your squishy pastor on the Gospel. Their conversion will not be true unless they understand that it is truly “Hard to Believe.

We must get away from the “easy believism” that is so prominent today, but would not be found on the lips of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is so consistent with preaching the Mscarthur and the message of Christ in and through every book of his that I have read thus far.
Within this book, he explains what the true Gospel is as revealed in the Bible, and why it’s important to proclaim it. That clearly seems to be the goal of Mr. Reviewers should stick to reviewing the content of the book But though I felt uncomfortable when cerer the book, even felt under attack, got annoyed with the author at times, I can list several criticisms and disagreements with him, ultimately just felt so glad to have read this book.
