Cowboys and Captives Series by Lora Leigh
Jennifer BType: Promises Linger drew me in, lulled me into trust, tickled my catpive of humor and burned me up with its eroticism. The romance had a great flow to it, not rushed, but didn’t lag. It was a fast read but definitely humorous and sexy! This is my favorite of the two books. I liked it so much I grabbed it as a solo.

Feb 26, Carolyn F. Cowboy and Captives by Lora Leigh!
As a matter of fact, half way through something happened that took me by surprise in a coboy way! The blurb in that newsletter—for Promises Linger—compelled me to buy her book.
Jack doesn’t believe love exists, but finds himself changing his mind and heart when he falls for Angel.
Cowboy and the Thief
Have owned cownoy books for years and have previously reviewed but they are missing. But this short was kinda rushed and all over the place.

Cowboy and the Captive (Cowboys and Captives, #1) by Lora Leigh
The torque mythology is an odd but fun bit woven in. Jack spends several weeks at the estate owned by Angel’s father, during that time, he purchases a celtic tourque from Angel’s father.
This was a good story that was set at a good pace. Her twin sister is needy and destructive and they always want her to take the fall and pretend to be her sister.

Her August Men books are excellent too, but they are hugely angst filled, and the subject matter is very dark, but I loved them. Dec 20, Bonnie Henry rated it it was amazing.
Melina is a twin, the nice twin. Melina is always quiet and withdrawn from her family. Major cheesy eye roller, even for LL. Occasionally I felt that there was a little too much detail surrounding the ‘myth’ of the stolen object without giving away any spoilers – for me less is sometimes more and that is quite accurate for this book – that said I thoroughly enjoyed it and gave it 4 stars!
You will have to read this to understand but trust me, it is a great read. I specially hate it when the main baddie is female. Just as Luc must learn to accept that, sometimes, things are not always as they seem.
But the fate of the ancient Druids works in mysterious ways. It all happened way too fast for me, and according to the epilogue I missed a lot of backstory.
The Breeds are addicting am I right! I would have smacked my brother if I were Melina.
rhe I liked reading about how the two handle each other in this book. Published November 27th by Ellora’s Cave first published November 1st One that I can see myself reading again:
