I started the book in the middle of the first big snowstorm of the winter, and the description made me wish that I could go lay out in the sun. After Jackson leaves, all she could think about was him. Star ratings in yellow are from our Staff Reviewers. I was disappointed in the over stylized southern accent used. I recommend this book for middle school and beyond for anyone who loves an old fashioned romance story.
I liked Savannah’s voice as the narrator, as in her personality, but I really could not get past all the Southern dialect. And come on, the rest is just a big void full of words that were just thrown into a pot and just cooked to see what could be possibly readable No trivia or quizzes yet. It was different seeing an entire novel written out in a southern accent, but it fit the atmosphere of the story.

I wasn’t sure what I was expecting from this. The Dark Days Deceit. And asthmatic characters ARE freaking sweet. She likes reading romance novels and works parttime in her local library.
Despite that fact she looks forward to reading tons of romance novels and working at her local library over the coming summer months and of course visiting the beach. Then she met Jackson Channin Savannah and Jackson’s story is a new type of love story. It is by Cheryl Renee Herbsman. Ashes in the Snow Movie Tie-In.
I want to read it again, right away. No, there isn’t anyone sleeping with anyone else in this book, but I don’t really need to hear all about a 15 year old’s thoughts about what she wants to do with her 18 year old boyfriend.

With every sentence it felt like the reader was transported from their living room couch to the sandy beaches of the Carolina coast. A Branches Book Dragon Masters Jackson was a one man army. I picked it up from the library byy and read it all. This book felt like an absolute breath of fresh air with its young love and its Southerness. It was so distracting and disingenuous that I could not finish this book.
He was neither gentlemanly nor respectful, but he did have moments of win.

Definitely going to hunt this book down.
He was the perfect counterbalance to Savannah. About Cheryl Renee Herbsman. She splits her time between reading trashy romance novels in the summer, looking out for her little herbmsan, working at the library, and hanging out at the beach. The whole part about him being uncertain? Breathingg is some cussing no f-bombs, thank goodness and one part of the book that shouldn’t be read by eyes under that age a makeout scene with light “petting”. What happens if he leaves and she can’t breathe without him?

Inspired by Your Browsing History. This was another fact that helped the reader to relate with the characters. Will Savannah finally learn to breathe on her own? She was much too dependent on him in regards to her health, and maybe she just might realize how she can actually live day to day without everything revolving around Jackson. Like I mentioned above, Breathing is a far cry okay, maybe just a considerably distanced cry from the typical YA novels I’ve been reading lately, which was nice, refreshing even.
I do not like bitching about a book. And the author portrayed it in a beautiful fashion by creating a scenario where one boy can bring you all closer. He seems to be the only person that gives Savannah her breath back and is just so different from any other boy that she has met.
I can relate to it wholesomely. Breathing is one of the breathinh realistic teen romance stories I’ve read in a long time. If it was an option I would have given this book 3.
